UpJobs is a job matching platform that reads your CV, builds your profile automatically, and matches you to remote and hybrid jobs that fit your skills and experience. You upload your CV once. We handle the matching, send you alerts on WhatsApp, and help you apply faster.

Sign up with your email, then upload your CV on the dashboard. We support PDF, DOCX, and TXT files. Once uploaded, we extract your profile automatically and start matching you to jobs within minutes. No manual form-filling required.

We accept PDF, DOCX (Microsoft Word), and plain text (TXT) files. PDF gives the best extraction results. If your CV is in another format, convert it to PDF before uploading.

You can build one from scratch using our CV builder. It guides you through your work history, skills, and education, then generates a clean, ATS-optimised CV you can download. Go to Dashboard and click "Build one from scratch" to get started.

When you upload your CV, we extract your skills, experience level, job title, and location. We then compare your profile against our job database using a combination of semantic similarity (AI embeddings) and skill overlap scoring. Each job gets a match percentage. You see only the jobs most relevant to your profile — not a generic list.

The match score reflects how closely a job aligns with your profile based on your skills, experience level, job title, and location preferences. A score above 60% means strong alignment. Below 40% means the job is a stretch. We show you the reason for each match so you can judge for yourself.

This usually happens for one of two reasons: 1. Your profile is still being processed — click "Refresh matches" on the dashboard and wait a moment. 2. Your CV did not extract enough detail — try re-uploading a more complete CV with clear job titles, skills, and work history. If matches still do not appear after refreshing, email us at hello@upjobs.co.

New jobs are ingested daily. Your matches are refreshed automatically every 24 hours. You can also trigger a manual refresh from your dashboard at any time (up to 10 times per day).

We aggregate jobs from multiple sources including JSearch, Remotive, Jobicy, Adzuna, and Arbeitnow. We focus on remote-friendly and hybrid roles, with a strong selection of tech, finance, marketing, and operations positions.

Only if you opt in and we have your number. After your CV is saved and we store matches for you, you may get a one-time WhatsApp with a few top picks (not a live ping for every new job). We also run a weekly digest (typically Mondays around 09:00 UTC) when our server cron is enabled — up to a few jobs per message. You can turn alerts off in your dashboard anytime.

Enter your WhatsApp number with country code during signup (e.g. +2348012345678 for Nigeria). You can also update your number and toggle alerts on or off from your dashboard under "WhatsApp job alerts".

Go to Dashboard → WhatsApp job alerts → turn off alerts and save (recommended). If our provider webhook is connected, replying STOP (or similar keywords) may also disable alerts for your number.

We use Paystack. You can pay with a Nigerian debit or credit card (and other options Paystack shows at checkout). Open Pricing, tap Subscribe, and complete checkout. Pro usually turns on within a minute once Paystack confirms payment. If anything looks stuck, refresh the dashboard or email hello@upjobs.co.

CV downloads on the free plan include a watermark. This is removed when you upgrade to Pro. You can still preview your CV in full on the dashboard at no cost.

On the Pro plan, you can generate a tailored cover letter for any job. Paste the job description and we generate a cover letter based on your CV and that specific role. You can edit the output before sending it to an employer.

ATS (Applicant Tracking System) scoring checks how well your CV is structured for automated screening software used by employers. We flag missing keywords, formatting issues, and sections that could cause your CV to be filtered out before a human reads it.

Your CV is used only to build your profile and match you to jobs. We do not share your data with employers or third parties without your consent. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting hello@upjobs.co.

Yes. All data is stored with row-level security enabled. Connections are encrypted with TLS. We do not store raw CV files after extraction is complete.
